He may not look like he's a lot of colors, but I assure you this bunny is. Underneath the pale yellow are layers of brown, gray, white, lavender, and more white. I just didn't know what color to make him! I've learned my lesson and will be doing color sketches from now on. :)

A bunny of many colors
He may not look like he's a lot of colors, but I assure you this bunny is. Underneath the pale yellow are layers of brown, gray, white, lavender, and more white. I just didn't know what color to make him! I've learned my lesson and will be doing color sketches from now on. :)

Hoot
I like him! That's 4.5 in a row, a definite record. The branch on the right side isn't actually touching the edge of the painting -- these are all 9x12 so that means I lose a quarter of an inch on all sides when I scan them. Very unfortunate. But then if I were to frame it, I suppose I might lose that same 1/4 inch... hmmm.

A Bee, Take 2
If this looks familiar, it's because I already painted it once, but although I liked the concept I didn't like the execution. I like this one better... not a huge fan, but that's OK. I've got sketches for the next one. :)
