I drew a person! Of my own free will! How unusual. :) I've been working on this painting in fits and starts for weeks now, so it's great to finally finish it. I am still not entirely sure if I like the kite -- the contrast of the stripes might be a little high, so I may go back and tweak it -- but overall I'm very pleased with how it turned out. This is a large canvas, too, 12"x24". It's a fun aspect ratio. :)

Girl With Kite
I drew a person! Of my own free will! How unusual. :) I've been working on this painting in fits and starts for weeks now, so it's great to finally finish it.
